Its time to move,
all the bags are packed,
all neatly stacked,
everything thats left is clothed in white.
I just look around
one last time,
close my eyes ,
think of the memories made here..
I come back to the present from my time travel.
Everything was so perfect, so real ..
now there is nothing left.
Everything that's left is clothed in white
Buried like the dead,
buried like those memories long gone.
I climb the stairs,
the wood creaks with my every step.
Go to my bedroom
and sit on the dusty floor ,
Only thing thats left here
is the stillness of the air.
I dont want to stay here one bit
but there is something that draws me back,
I look at the large wide wall before me,
which was once , clean and white.
Now it has the color of scarlet,
scattered as if it was spray painted.
I dont want to stay here anymore
Fear that i'll wake the dead,
because the dead cant be killed again.
The wall brings back the memories of the stormy night,
when i pulled the trigger and let the bullet pass
through his head ,
Made the wall white to scarlet..
We had the love
that was meant to last,
but his love for liquor was even more
that i couldnt ever surpass
try as i might ,
I could never get it out of his sight.
That stormy night,
it had taken over his senses..
I was deep beneath the covers,
did not hear the stairs creak beneath his steps,
did not hear the rusted hinges of the door.
But then there was a flash of lightning ,
and i saw a dark shadow
hand raised high over his head.
Something glinted in his hand,
shone like metal.
My heart skipped a beat, for I knew what it was
Knew this would be my last.
knew this was it, the time had come to end it all
To the end the love that once was meant to last.
Pulled the revolver from under the covers,
Saw the shadow moving closer.
Pulled the trigger in a flash,
the gun shot was muffled by the storm .
He fell on the floor in slow motion,
time slowed down..
He looked at me with shocked eyes,
once they used to look at me with love,
once i could see myself in them,
Now all i could see was scarlet.

Just like that wall that was once white...
all the bags are packed,
all neatly stacked,
everything thats left is clothed in white.
I just look around
